I use diverse mediums to tell stories. Photography, in particular, allows me to capture moments of perseverance among marginalized individuals who work tirelessly to achieve their dreams. I find these moments profoundly rewarding and believe they deserve recognition and honor. The photographs curated here celebrate Ghana’s rich socio-cultural landscape and highlight the daily lives of hardworking street vendors and workers who inspire my portrait and text-based paintings. I collaborated with the Ghanaian researcher Richard Asante, who contributed to some of my early photography projects.
